Police investigating after 1 person shot in Cheraw
CHERAW, S.C. (WPDE) — Police are investigating an apparent shooting this evening on ACL Avenue in the Cheraw area of Chesterfield County, according to Cheraw Police Chief Julius Riley.
The victim’s condition hasn’t been released.
Riley said at this point they are still working to gather information.
Community members said a portion of the road is blocked and officers are not allowing any traffic in the area.
Riley said more information will be released as it becomes available.
